Central NY Boxer Rescue is an affiliate of Pound Puppy Rescue, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We rely on the adoption fees and funds from our donors to keep operating. We currently have boxers who are being treated for heartworms. Heartworm disease is reaching epidemic proportions, and the treatments are costly and there is no guarantee that the dog will survive. This is such a shame, considering the fact that it is preventable with a monthly pill. Please keep your dog on heartworm preventive all year long, and avoid the heartache and expense of dealing with this nasty disease. We are a small rescue located in Oswego County, New York. We rescue mainly Boxers, but will occasionally help American Bulldogs and Pitbulls if time and space and funding permits.
